Koro Description

KORO DESCRIPTION!!!

Introducing the amazing KORO!

Koro has an amazing personality and he is the most helpful person on earth. He is like a human rubbish bin. Koro has been a great KORO to each and every one of us.  He is as kind and always says “Hey mate,” or “Hey! Pick up your rubbish!”  Koro picks up the leftover rubbish that other children throw on the ground or they just can’t be bothered to walk over to the rubbish bin.

Koro likes kids and people that show respect, that don’t litter and use their manners at all times. Koro also likes it when children don’t litter and pick up others rubbish. Another thing Koro enjoys  and likes is having a joyful life and likes it when our school is clean and green. Koro has done a lot of things for us children that we should be doing. Like picking up rubbish that other children just dump on the ground because they’re just too lazy to put it in the rubbish bin. Koro loves it when our Kapa Haka group sings our Maori songs.

Koro is wise and humble,he always cares if we are hurt, he cheers you up if you're not feeling  that well, he's witty and that makes me laugh.
Koro is one of a kind to us children at Tamaki.  He has the biggest heart in the whole world.
He manages to look after us. Koro hates it when he see’s the children drop their rubbish.
He has brown eyes as brown as leather, it’s like Koro has silver in his hair but gold in his heart!

Koro always had to keep our school clean and superb as possible.  He tries to come to school everyday when he should be at home having a holiday.  He gets straight to work and doesn’t muck around.  Koro takes time away from taking care of his family for us and that means a lot to the children at Tamaki.  Koro always finishes his job and doesn’t do those half jobs like we do.

Koro always tries to take time for his family and tries to make time for us.
Koro dislikes people who litter and who don't listen to him. Koro also dislikes people who talk back to him.   Koro floats around in our dreams day and night, because of all that he has done for us kids and we all should be grateful of what he has given us. We were given a gift from the Lord, and that gift was Koro!

Koro is special to us because he is like our own real Koro to each and everyone of us. We all love you very much Koro and we would love for you to stay with us forever! He always loves us and takes good care of our school.

My Observation Report

My Observation Report

Introduction-This term we have been learning about plants.
My group has chosen the experiment stain the veins.
Involving in my experiment I have to use food colouring, scissors,a plastic cup or bowl,a bunch of flowers.

Procedure- On August the 10th on Friday
my group gathered the food colouring, the water, the bunch of flowers,a pair of scissors and the cup to put all of the ingredients in.
Me and my group had to pour about six tablespoons of food colouring into each plastic cup and had to pour water until the cup was half full.
We had to carefully cut the rear inside bits of the stem with the pair of scissors, then put the two flowers in the plastic cups with the food colouring inside.

Observations-On the next day we had saw that our hypothesis was right and we had also saw that the petals on the flowers had changed colour too.
The day after that me and my group had saw that the food colouring was darker and the inside bits of the stem had  changed colour too.
The last day of observation me and my group had saw that the plants were turning into an orange colour.

Conclusion- I discovered that if you put food colouring and water in a bowl or cup and leave it there, then the petals on the flower will  change colour.
I also found out that if you you don’t water the plants, then they die.
I felt happy about my experiment!

Day 3 Observation

Today when I was observing our flowers today we had saw that the petals were changing to  orange and the food colouring was going much darker.

We can also see that the flowers are about to die.

I wonder what our experience project will look like tomorrow?

Day One: Observation Term 3

Today we checked our plants. Our hypothesis was right. The stem and the petals changed colour! Now.......

I am wondering if we left the flowers in the food colouring for another 2 weeks, what will happen?

What will happen to the flowers if the food colouring was toxic oil? Would the flowers die? Or will they stay alive?

What will happen if we put the flowers in the sun, but the water was toxic oil?

Will the flowers still change colour if we change the food colouring to water?

My experiment

Me and my group are studying on a topic, Our title is called Stein the Veins.
